At 24 weeks, my obgyn put me on bed rest for early contractions to prevent preterm labor. It has been hard to be on bed rest with 2 little ones running around. I was definitely NOT confined to my bed because Chris works a full time job outside of the church. But at 32 weeks, I had started to dilate and I had to get off my feet! We have had to rely on help from others for help which has been very humbling! Chris’ Mom flew out the day after my appointment to stay with me for a week. A lady from church stayed all day till after Bible study to be with me and a friend from NC came to stay with us for a little over 2 weeks. My Mom is here now till after the baby arrives.
There have been many times where I thought I was going to go crazy but I am so thankful that God has brought me this far with this little one. Another miracle baby on the way! God did it for Gabbi who was really wanting to come out at 29 weeks and I expect nothing less than what He did for us then! Prayers work! Don’t ever underestimate the power of prayer and the hand of God! Through this time, God has taught me so much more about Him than I have ever learned in a long time. Bed rest is terrible, but yet, God has really used this time to refresh my life with His presence!
Thank you to all our family and friends who have been praying for me and for baby Zachary to stay in! We are excited and can’t wait for his arrival! Bella and Gabbi keep telling us to get his room ready—they want to know that their little brother will be set when he gets here! We truly appreciate all the prayers and all the help!
